Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
Service Description
This is the renewal and skills testing for the ACLS course. Your initial ACLS class is a required prerequisite before taking this class. In this advanced course, we highlight the importance of effective team interaction and communications during resuscitation, we teach understanding cardiac algorithms and aftercare of an arrest. Airway management and medications, and basic EKG interpretation will also be covered in this course. Initial ACLS description: a advanced course that teaches systems of care and resuscitation for Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Cardiac Arrest. Team dynamics and communication are emphasized. Listed below are the 2015 AHA guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. —Basic life support ( bag mask, chest compressions) —Recognition of Respiratory and cardiac arrest ( signs and symptoms) along with Acute Coronary Syndrome. —Management of the airway and its modalities (EandSCPR also offer a more comprehensive understanding of the Different Oxygen Modalities offered in a hospital setting which is not a Part of the AHA guidelines). —Pharmacology —Team Dynamics and Communication —EKG interpretation ACLS Renewal description: reviews all the listed AHA guidelines with skills practice and testing. This class is 4-6 hours long and 6 CEUS will be given on completion. Requirements: Students must bring bring an AHA ACLS Provider book to class or e-book equivalent. This course requires all students to complete a AHA Pre-course Self Assessment which requires a 70% passing grade. Bring a Printed copy of completion to class. ( no pictures of completed test will be accepted).We will send you study guides to help with the Pre-course when you sign up for class.

Cancellation Policy
A place in the class has been reserved for you and space is limited. We understand that situations beyond your control may arise, requiring you to reschedule a class. Please give at least 48-hour notice if you are unable to attend. The participant is given one opportunity to reschedule within 60 days (Provider Courses) or the next available class of the original class date. All cancellations are subject to a $25 processing fee. Cancellations require a minimum of 24-hour notice before the start of the class and are only eligible for the initial class date. No refund will be given for cancellations on or after the day of the class. To cancel or reschedule a class, please give us a call.
